Episode 14 – Part 1: Fritzy’s, Wrestling Legends & Getting Kicked in the Dick by a Chick

Shaffer RULES is back with Episode 14 – Part 1, and this one starts exactly how it should: with an absolutely ridiculous original Fritzy’s commercial/song that sets the tone for the entire episode.

Brian and Shaff kick things off with Big House Pete’s song “Butternuts,” some memories from the Rock For Life days, and stories about old local bands, wild fights, and the Pittsburgh-area music scene. The guys also give some love to their sponsors, including Maono microphones and Dubby Energy, before diving into wrestling nostalgia, Hulk Hogan, Rowdy Roddy Piper, old WWF territories, and classic wrestling documentaries.

The episode also features the return of the Pour of the Week, where the guys try Ellicottville American Whiskey and quickly realize it may not be their favorite pour so far. From there, things spiral into Steelers draft talk, Pittsburgh TV personalities, old taekwondo trophies, childhood martial arts tournaments, river life, lost sunglasses, Pittsburgh accents, Rammstein, vinyl collecting, and Brian’s reworked version of “Stayin’ Alive.”

And yes, this episode includes the birth and backstory of what may be the next great Shaffer RULES anthem: “Kicked in the Dick by a Chick.”
